- In France, water bathing sites are inspected at least once a month by the Departmental Directorates of Health and Social Affairs (DDASS / DSS / DSDS) based on the results of analyised of samples taken at a surveillance point definded by the DDASS and the manager (see website: http://baignades.sante.gouv.fr ). The data was submitted to the Agency of marine protected areas as an attribute table. It was then geolocated by the Agency of marine protected areas from the BD CARTO ® of IGN.
