The time series of current measurements archived at SISMER were collected by various scientific or operational teams.

These series come from fixed point, or Eulerian, moored platforms. The data are sampled at a constant time step. Missing data points are set to 99999. Depending on the instruments used, optional temperature, pressure or conductivity measurements may be available.

For data acquired before 1988, most of the validation was done at the former BNDO/ATDO department under the responsibility of the scientists who collected them.

Data were validated before archiving by the teams collecting them.
