The associated data highlights the spatial influence of the dataset of the type “Visual Observations from an Aerial Platform” from the PELAGIS Observatory. These ranges represent the different areas of study on which the PELAGIS observatory conducted campaigns of visual observations from aerial platforms. Each area of study is associated with at least one campaign, with observers and geographical sectors linked to that campaign. Each sector is associated with bathymetric strips and transects related to each of the strips, with a few exceptions for the Indian Ocean region. Il s'agit d'un suivi des communautés de métazoaires planctoniques du Bassin d'Arcachon en terme de diversité taxonomique et d'abondance. Le suivi est réalisé en période estivale (période de production de naissain d'huîtres) sur 6 stations représentatives des masses d'eau moyennes et internes du Bassin.

Base informatisée visant à organiser la synthèse et la validation des données rassemblées par le CBNFC-ORI, l'OPIE Franche-Comté, le réseau de bénévoles régionaux et diverses structures ou organismes partenaires (ONCFS, ONEMA, ONF, associations naturalistes, bureaux d'étude, etc ...). Les groupes faunistiques abordés portent sur les Invertébrés sensu-lato. En lien avec l'amélioration générale de la connaissance, les objectifs visés portent sur la mise en place d'un réseau de veille permanente, permettant à terme une meilleure appréhension de l'évolution du statut des taxons régionaux et d'en assurer ainsi une meilleure conservation.
